Hi all,
I have a members only website, and so you must login to peruse the content.

I would like it to be a bit more accessible via Search Engines, and at the last SocialGo lunchtime info-eat i attended, they guest suggested a 2nd non-protected page of highlights that Google could crawl, etc.

So I have "unprotected" a page, but that doesn't show up on my homepage.
The SoGO support guys say it' something to do with my code on my welcome page. I don't think I changed much on that page...

Any thoughts? if anyone is interested in the source: http://pridebook.com

Thanks
Rob

First off, I'll say this is a big NO NO many SG sites are doing, they are hiding too much, as you know, you have to have some content out there, for the search engines, and for browsers to kinda get hooked in. Like I have no idea what your site is about.. well I have a good idea.

On the page issue if I'm understanding right, you unprotected a page and it's not showing up: I don't see how your welcome page code could knock off a menu item. If you messed up the menu it would be messed up inside the protected site too. I might of mis-understood what you were saying, but I would double check that you have it selected "everyone" but I'm sure you've done that. hmm.

Ok, I looked at your home page code. There is NO other menu items, meaning there are no other pages, even if it (the unprotected page) was hidden or knocked off the page it would still be in the HTML menu.
